entering week 30...

or I guess week 31, as I'm 30 weeks preggo already, which means I have only ten weeks or so to go... if I go full term and not early or late that is... and I'm currently having mixed feelings about being at this stage of the game... on one hand I can't WAIT to hold this sweet little creature and cuddle it and love it... and on the other hand, I really think I will miss feeling the movements going on in my belly...

I mean I've been pretty darn blessed during this pregnancy, yeah I got the dreaded "morning sickness" that was more of a 24/7 nausea from weeks 6 through 15, as well as barely being able to keep my eyes open the first trimester... and yeah for the past month or so I've been plagued with heartburn several times a week, but all in all - I've had a GREAT pregnancy! Unlike my friend L who was retaining water by month 5 and had high blood pressure throughout her pregnancy, as well as having to spend her birthday in the hospital due to pre-eclampsia symptoms... she was absolutely miserable for a good portion of her pregnancy and is not looking forward to doing it again in the near future... me on the other hand - I've had it easy, and I'm actually loving being pregnant... so I think that I'll miss it... well, if I even have any time to miss it with Copper taking all of my attention and energy that is :)

either way - my time as a preggo is getting shorter, and before long I'll be a MOM! how exciting!

I hear heartburn means the baby has hair. i.e: more heartburn more hair! I've tested this theory on several and it seems to be true....we'll see!!

I love this new blog R!! It's so adorable and has such a personality, and a great sense of humor - most likely, just like Little Copper will have with you as his momma. Who can believe you're almost to the end - and yet, just about to begin? I'm so excited for him to be here. I love you, and congratulations on all accounts!!

As I said, Copper may very well be a lady Copper, I have no idea! What made me think I did? I guess it's because everyone else (the seven girls)are all so far having boys. I guess I just always "felt" that Copper was going to be a boy. So for anyone I confused, I'm an idiot for the record!!

Yes I remember the morning sickness and running to the toilet every few minutes. I also remember my heartburn being so bad I that I puked several times too! It's all worth it! It's hard to see that at first after you have the little one cause you are so exhausted and stressed.....the hormonal change doesn't help the situation either. It's a huge adjustment and anytime you need me I will be there for you. If you need someone to talk to or someone to hold copper just to give you sometime to yourself I will be there. Don't feel bad if you need to take a break you will have a ton of people that are willing to help if you need them. I know I just needed to get out of the house and wanted to spend time with the hubby so I was glad my friends were able to watch Amelia to give us a break.

Heartburn has nothing to do with baby's hair...people associate anything that happens during pregancy to either the sex of the baby or it having/not having hair. One has nothing to do with the other-go ask your doctor about it. Some people just have worse heartburn than others.
